How to reconcile Meesho payments: a step-by-step guide

By the TruePayout team · Updated · 6 min read

Quick answer

To reconcile Meesho payments, download the Payments report and the Orders report from the Meesho Supplier Panel for the same period, match each sub order to its settlement line, then match each payout total to a credit in your bank statement using the UTR. Delivered orders with no settlement and payouts that land short are the main things to claim.

Key points

  • Meesho tracks money per sub order number, so always match by sub order, not by order.
  • You need three files: the Payments report, the Orders report and your bank statement.
  • Ads, compensation, recoveries and referral lines are account-level and belong to the payout, not to an order.
  • Raise claims quickly: Meesho's claim windows are short and are shown in your Supplier Panel.

Step by step

  1. Download the Payments report for the months you want to check.
  2. Download the Orders report for the same months.
  3. Download your bank statement covering the same months plus a week after, so late payouts are included.
  4. Match orders to payments by sub order number. A delivered sub order with no settlement line after the payment cycle is unpaid.
  5. Check each deduction. Compare commission, shipping and return charges with your rate card and with the return type.
  6. Match payouts to the bank by UTR. The payout total in the report should equal the bank credit.
  7. Raise a ticket for each difference with the sub order number, the amount and the reason.

Common Meesho differences

  • Delivered, not paid: the sub order is delivered but has no settlement line.
  • Return charge on a courier return (RTO): check whether the return was initiated by the buyer or the courier.
  • Wrong weight slab: shipping charged for a heavier slab than your packed weight.
  • Same charge twice: one return or penalty appears in two payouts.
  • Recovery without a reason: a recovery line that does not name an order or a cause.

Doing it faster

Doing this by hand takes hours in a spreadsheet. TruePayout reads the Meesho Payments report, Orders report and your bank statement, does every match above in under a minute, and writes the ticket text for each difference worth raising. Your file stays on your phone; only order numbers, dates and amounts are checked.

Frequently asked questions

Which Meesho report shows my payments?

The Payments report in the Meesho Supplier Panel. It lists settlement lines per sub order and account-level lines such as ads, compensation and recoveries.

Why does Meesho show sub order numbers?

Meesho tracks each item in an order as a sub order, and payments, returns and charges are recorded per sub order. Always reconcile by sub order number.

How do I find unpaid Meesho orders?

Compare the Orders report with the Payments report. Any sub order marked delivered, with no settlement after its payment date, is unpaid.

How do I raise a payment claim on Meesho?

Raise a ticket from the Support section of the Supplier Panel, choose the payment related issue, and give the sub order number, the amount and why it is wrong.
